birthday bees

I made this card last night for a girl at work who is having a birthday today... Its is a one of kind... too much fussin to mass produce!! This is a sneak preview of what will be in the new CAtty in just a week! I am soo excited!!
I used tangerine cardstock and the soon to be retired haiku designer paper, and the large oval punch and the really large oval punch. I used my watercolor pencils and a blender pen on the hive and for the bees, and the bees have dazzling diamond glitter. My upline called me tonight from Leadership and told we will be having some new colored glitter in chocolate and old olive... yummy!

These little mail boxes are so much fun! I covered hershey nuggets with designer paper 3x1 inches.... they would make cute little favors! I used pink pirouette paper and ink and Ridinghood Red Ink. I colored the love and birds in with my blender pen.

The love you much stamp set is so much fun! It part of the bundle along with the paper and punch on sale now until Jan 31

baby show4er time

Our Daughter's baby shower is the end of the month! Can't believe it is getting so close! We made a varity of onsies all just a tad different... we sure had fun with all the designer paper! This was our Mock Up that is why we used the retired designer paper... after we got the kinks out, we used current designer paper. Since the parents have chosen not to know the sex of the baby, it was fun to keep things "gender neutral"

Happy 1st Anniversary

Happy Anniversary to our Daughter, married one year
ago New Years Eve. She had a "surprize" wedding, the surprize being on their guests. We went to what we thought was a New Years Eve party, and surprize on us, they and our minister had been planning this for quite some time! We are very happy for them.
This is a direct case from my Upline's, Upline the talented Julie Davison! I also made one in Pacific blue, but after it was done, I remembered that their theme was not only the double champainge glasses but red.. I will post the blue card as well.. same card just different colors....
The card on the bottom is from Julie!

"The Bundle"

This was made from "The Bundle" now on sale from Stampin Up! Save $ when you order the whole package... stamps and designer paper. I love the colors. I think this set is so versatile... this could be a wedding card... thinking of you card, Valentines... what ever you want! I just love our "in color.. pink pirouette" it is so soft and blends so nicely with our close to cocoa ... I stamped the birds on the designer paper, and used a blender pen to color them. The blender pens are so easy to use... and add that special touch to your project!

Happy New Year True Friends

Happy NewYear....
"Its going to fine, ....in 2009"
I wish you all good health in the coming year.

People often ask me what my favorite color is. I guess it depends on the day! I am really fond of Old Olive and Not Quite Navy. The Maine Blueberry paper blends these 2 colors so nicely, this was a very easy card to create! In the center of the flower is one of our Pretties brads. I took it apart to just use "the pretty" I used old olive gross grain ribbon, but a piece of Old Olive paper would look just as good.

Good snowy morning from Michigan! The small amount of snow that we got looks pretty, and I am happy to see it, for a day!  Now we can jump ...
