Sorry I have been MIA.. but we have a new granddaughter! Her name is Shannon Grace and I think she is the most beautiful baby I have EVER seen...
I have been busy making Thank yous for DD to send out. This is retired Designer Paper.. parisian.. and Pale Plum. and from Pun Fun, thank ewe.. I thought these were soft colors and makes think of a delicate baby girl. DD really dislikes pink, so I tried to stay away from "pinkie" type Thank yous. Of course I HAD to use my favorite new punch to make the eyelet boarders. I colored the Lambs face and heart blush blossom.. they were very easy to make and I made 20 in one evening.
I made another Thank-you for her, keeping with her ducky theme.. but you will have to tune in soon to check it out!

birthday butterfly
One of my dear friends is having a birthday tomorrow, the same day as my grandchild will be born... so I wanted to be sure Julie had her gift before I leave for the hospital. Baby is being born c-section as it is breach... I refer to Baby as It as we do not know the sex of the sweet babe! I really don't care ... I just want my daughter safe and her baby safe as well!
Since it is still sale a bration, I can use this and post this paper... I like how the taffeta ribbon makes the body and antena.. it really does irl... one antena got scrunches as I scanned it,,,, poor little fella!
I made 6 of these for her birthday, using different greetings.. and I made blue butterflies, and green and blue...

This is the card we made at our upline meeting in Jan! I love this butterfly die, and the card is so easy! We died the ribbon with pastels. I love how the satin ribbon makes the butterfly's body and antena! You can't see from the picture, but the white circle ( made using the circle cutter) is dry embossed using one of the new embossing plate for the big shot! The color doesn't show well but the card base is brocade blue... the DP is bella birds. My upline Susan came up with the design!!
