Merry Christmas Everyone!
I have been wanting to make time to make a magic card, and finally took the time to make one! Extremly easy! This is for our Granddaughters first Christmas.
I used Real Red Cardstock, Whisper white cardstock and Jolliest time of the year stamp set.. all from StampinUp!
I got the idea from my up up line Julie Davison. Her blog is http://juliedavison.blogspot.com/ She is one talented upline and I am so lucky to be part of her team. Her mom is my upline and now I know where Julies talent comes from!
Merry Christmas everyone!

I know this is a non current stamp, but I couldn't resist making this for the gentleman who kept our lawn mowed this summer! It was fun going thru my "non current stuff" and putting it to good use... for personal stuff. It helped me remember why I became a demo in the first place.

Our last Christmas card stamp a stack, to be held this Friday.I have the greatest upline, Susan La-Croix. I am proud to be on of "Susans Sparklers". She has a large stamping area, and we hold joint events in her 'studio". My Sideline Angela, Susan and myself, designed these cards. The bottom card was inspired by a swap Susan recieved at regionals in Ohio this past Sept. Immagine my surprize this morning when I logged into Demo support and found that this card was beign demonstarted by some one in the head office!! .. well not this card , but the orginal !
These cards will be fun and easy to make... We still have a few open spots.. call me to reserve yours today!

I had to make a sympathy card for some friends... I hate it when this happens.. I must have stared at my stamps for 15 minutes before I could even think of what I wanted... then I remembered this set, and it fit the occasion perfectly.
On a happier note, I just returned from regionals in Cincinati Ohio and got some wonderful ideas and learned some new techniques! I hope to be sharing them soon! I even got to speak with Shelly and have my picture taken with her. She is so nice and REAL! I got to meet some of the "Utah People from Stampin Up" and it was quite refreshing.. they really do care for each and every demo, no matter where you are in the scheme of things, and they really listen!
I will try to update more often... does life ever really slow down??

This card is so simple, and easy. I used the great friends stamp set. I took a scrap piece of card stock and cut out my square, and used it for a templet. Then I inked up a sponge, off stamped it and then used it to "outline" my square. Leaving the templet in place, I used the great friends stamps and stamped the vine, and used several "generations" .. ( by stamping over and over again with out re inking ) Then I took the butterfly stamp and stamped it "full strength".
On some of my other cards using this technique.. I stamped the butterfly after I took off the templet, and it looked like the butterfly was flying out the picture! My scanner did not do a good job of scanning this card... so you really can't see it true beauty!

This is more of my favorite cottage wall dsp, this time featuring the Ronald McDonald set. This set is found on the last page of the current catalog. Very Thankful. For every set sold, Stampin Up donates $2.00 to the Ronald McDonald house Charities. I think this is one of my favorite sets for Ronald McDonald so far. At first I didn't like the peacock, and I thought I would never use it.. but I am finding I just him. He is fresh and different. The ribbon is the in color ribbon, polka dot side down. It really brings out the raspberry in the dsp!
Thanks for looking!

I have been wanting to do a shaker card for a long time... well when a friend got her grandchild before the shower.. ( tiny little premie girl) I knew exctly what I wanted to do! Tea Party paper and pretty in pink meets window sheets and glass beads... there was a lot of measuring and "fussing" to this card, so I will only make them for the "extra special" people in my life!

more window sheets

This is another window sheet card that we will be making in our window sheet class! The flowers are white foam cut out with my big shot and small flower die. The bee and Thankyou are stamped with white craft ink and embossed with clear embossing powder. This card was fun to make and you could easily change the card just by changing the colors!

Playing with my animals!

Hi Everyone! I did not evaporate off the face of the earth! Life happens!
I finally had time to stamp for me. I have the greatest hubby on earth !!!! He semi fixed dinner, and I brought home salads, & paper plates are great. I was able to take a nice long bath and then go into my craft room to "play" I used my new in color, crushed curry.. old olive and chocolate chip. Crushed Curry is fast becoming one of my favs... This card was really quite simple and easy to do! The happy Birthday is a tad crooked... I should have used my stamp-a-magic, and it would have been much better.

Again, my scanner doesn't want to give me true color.. guess I will have to work on that.
I sure am enjoying my "new toys"
I used crushed curry and dusty darango to color the flower. The leaves are a combo of artichoke and celeery..

level 2 hostess set

I really like the hostess sets this year! I used artfully asian and razzle-dazzle lemonade paper.. my scanner kind of washed out some of the color, but I think you get a good idea of the new colors

Happy Easter

Happy Easter, one day late! We had a great day! We went to our daughters for the day. We took dinner and cooked it there, as she just had our first grandchild not 3 full weeks ago. Of course I was in my glory, because I got to be family all day! We did miss our future Daughter in Law, tho as she had to work.
It was a nice day, full of good food and laughs!

This is what the Easter Bunny made this year! It worked out so much better than individual baskets.. Everyone got their own carton.. and Gramma didn't go nuts buying candy! ( none of us need it or really like it)

You can get the directions for the cartons and holder from Inking Idaho blog. I sure have had fun making these for different holidays!

The card is one that was in our Stamping magazine that Stampin Up puts out just for Demonstrators. It was a really fun and easy card to do, and a bit different as well !

Ducky Thank you

Here is the one I think DD will like better. I had trouble with my scanner, apparently it doesn' t like Gable green.
I paper pieced Duckys scarf. This is a new set from the Occasions Mini. It has a wagon, and egg, a flower and this Duck it in. The duck has been lots of fun for me. I'll be posting our Easter card soon.. even tho we used the now retired Sale a Bration designer paper.
The duck is mounted on tempting turquois.. but the colors are waaayy off ..
Hope you are enjoying my baby thank yous!

Baby Shannon Thank yous

Sorry I have been MIA.. but we have a new granddaughter! Her name is Shannon Grace and I think she is the most beautiful baby I have EVER seen...
I have been busy making Thank yous for DD to send out. This is retired Designer Paper.. parisian.. and Pale Plum. and from Pun Fun, thank ewe.. I thought these were soft colors and makes think of a delicate baby girl. DD really dislikes pink, so I tried to stay away from "pinkie" type Thank yous. Of course I HAD to use my favorite new punch to make the eyelet boarders. I colored the Lambs face and heart blush blossom.. they were very easy to make and I made 20 in one evening.
I made another Thank-you for her, keeping with her ducky theme.. but you will have to tune in soon to check it out!
