that time of year really sneaks up on you!

Once again December snuck up on me! One of these years you'd think I 'd get used to it coming right after Thanksgiving!
All of these cards have a common theme... can you see it? Other than they are all green! Yeppers. you guessed it, they all have a piece of wintergreen designer paper on them. All these cards came from one piece of 12x12 designer paper from Stampin Up! They were so much fun to use, I almost don't want to send them.... you know me and the post office... if they don't walk themselves to the post office, they don't leave my house!.... Of course, the set Punch Pals was so much fun to play with, too!
Okay for those who want the Hubby update......... Heres the latest.. the surgery for the fistula went well, hopefully it will "mature" enough for them to start using it in Jan for his dialysis. He goes every Tues Thurs and Sat... and yes he went on Turkey day and it looks like he'll be spending 3 -3.5 hours there on Christmas day as well... a small price to pay to still be able to kiss him every day and snuggle with him every night!
He says he feels okay most of the time... he is very upbeat and positive. We both thank you all for your prayers and concerns! It means a lot!
okay I'm going to post an upcoming class... so check back soon in case I run into difficulties..
In the meantime, Happy Holidays... and have the Merriest Christmas Ever! We are sure gonna try!

Hoppy Holidays from the Hoppers!

I just HAD to do this! Santas hat is from the dormant Crab and Co, and the sayings from both unfrogettable and Happy Everything!

The paper is from dots and dashes DP from the fall catalog! It was just too much fun!

I know, I'm pushing the season! I'll put home Halloween/ fall stuff up soon!

My sat workshop

I have a workshop on Sat and the hostess wants a Halloween Card, Thanksgiving card and Christmas card....... I have so many idea and so many things I want to show them, I just don't know where to start! I blatantly cased this from our Demo magazine SU puts out for us! My daughter says loose the ribbon.... what do you think??
the card on the right is my Thanksgiving card. I 've use the "Z" fold and wintergreen designer paper. Gotta love all that designer paper. I used watercolor paper and staz on, and aqua pens to color and I will also take my markers, so they can have a choice. I would love to do a bizzillion cards with them, but since for a lot of them it will all be new, I surely do not want to overwhelm them!

My Firsts

Hi Everyone!

Today Sept 6th 2007... I'm learning about Blogs and hopefully I will learn enough to share my love of Rubber Stamping and Stampin Up! with you! I will try to add some projects that I have been making and maybe even some instructions! Bare with me! I was working on Christmas cards last night. This was an easy layout to do, however it still needs some "tweeking" here and there. I've used Dashing designer paper (aka dp) ,Fun and easy notes stamp set and Many Merry Messages all from SU's fall and winter catalog. I used the new "in colors" River Rock , Old Olive and Real Red. and of course Real Red ink! So this is my first blog, my first upload, and my first Christmas card! I hope to add more cards soon! So for now, this is it! What do ya think?

Good snowy morning from Michigan! The small amount of snow that we got looks pretty, and I am happy to see it, for a day!  Now we can jump ...
