Good Morning! Looks like a great summer day here in Sunny Michigan today! Lets enjoy the sun and warm while we can, for soon it will be winter... ugggg!

Today I have (what we in the stamping world ) a catalog case. To  CASE something means to  Copy And Share Everything on a card you like!  So if you look on page 200 in the catalog you will see this card.
I copied it 100% from the catalog. In this next picture I did the same on our note cards. ( did you know that the note cards come pre-scored and with envelopes.... 20 for 6,00 works out to be about .30 for a card? it costs more for the postage!)
And this last picture is my "stepped up " version of the very same card... I added a mat underneath and put it on colored card stock and added just the tiniest  little bling. What do you think?
Not only does the catalog is a great shopping experience, it is also a great source of ideas too!

As promised here is the measurements for this card.
Card base 5 1/2 x 8 1/2
score on 8 1/2 side at 2 1/8 and 8 3/8

For the inside you will need 1peice of
 card stock  3 x 5 1/2 and DSP  5 1/4 x 2 3/4
( DSP= designer series paper) I used a 2 1/2 circle punch to get the circle cut out.

 and 2 pieces of card stock 3 1/2 x 4
 Out side panels  you need 2 each of card stock 5 1/4 x 2  and 2 each of designer series paper 5 x 1 3/4 .
The belly band is just a 3/4 x 11 piece of card stock

for the center "shutter" part.. score at 1/2 on the 4 inch side , then find the center and cut out the triangle farthest away from the score mark.

there you have the measurements.. I hope to do a video soon, so please check back often!

this is the shutter card we made in class on Tues and Thurs . I will give you the measurements for this card when I get back to Rockwood... I forgot to bring them with me. The most important thing to remember for this card is the 1/2 inch score line on the shutter pieces..
Here is another card I made for a friend

Who is ready to make some "everyday" cards? I have room in tomorrow 's class at 1030 am !
