season of friendship
Can you tell I love my new bear?? I had all of these sets out tonight just playing around! I colored with my markers...did the rock and roll technique on the leaves.. and used the "queen Annes lace " from the hostess set for the grass... I masked my bears and owls...this was a fun card to make.... now to decide whom to send it to????

natural sympathy
I just love my new set, nature silhouettes (22.95)
It seems we never have sympathy cards when we need them, so I tried to make a few ahead... I left the inside blank so when I need it, I can put the most fitting verse in. I also used haiku designer paper.. old olive and chocolate chip card stock
I used poppin pastels for the scene. I stamped in versamark and then daubed the pastels over it. I love this technique.. I love watching it 'come to life"

more emerging color
I made a few more and found the secret to emerging color on designer paper is to not over heat it! Emboss it until it just "turns shiney" and stop. I am one who usually thinks I have to cook it!
Here I used more of the Parisian Summer with Sahara Sand card stock, Sahara Sand is my least favorite cardstock color, but it does go well with the DP. I also stamped on the pink pirouette ribbon. On the darker Upsy Daisy's I use Elegant Eggplant ink, because I thought the bravo b. ink wasn't working well... but it's not the ink... its the embosser-person!! LOL

bravo pink day
Today I finally found time to stamp for me and tried a new to me technique.. emerging color with designer paper. I used Parisian Summer with uppsy daisy stamp set. I stamped in versamark then embossed with clear embossing powder.. and brayered over it with bravo burgundy ink.. and then wiped the color off the upsy daisy's.One of them I goofed on and used white embossing powder.. it was an oops but came out okay in the end. I used pink pirouette card stock and bravo burgundy card stock.. fire brads, all stampin up materials. This was really fun and relaxing... I think I'll go stamp some more

I was playing around with the scallop circle punch, Making the folds for the turkey when I deciced I needed to make a thankyou, and this is the result! I love it when I a chance to go up to my "studio". I love it when I get the chance to go up and just play around!
One of the girls at work asked me to come up with a place setting card for her Thanksgiving Day dinner. This is the result of my brain storming! I used the fall designer paper from the Holiday Mini catalog and the top note die, and I believe I used confetti white cardstock. I had to put it on post it notes to scan it..they are much prettier in real life!Wednesday, November 5, 2008
